If you are purchasing these for a gm Application, they are fine, however, I recommend carefully heating up some motor oil and paraffin and soaking them and letting them cool a bit in the oil then removing before the paraffin starts to gel.The phosphating is good, but not oiled enough if your looking for a longer rust protection
