These are nice and sturdy. I'm using them to build a shed and then Home Depot or Lowes. No sharp edges either.

We used these brackets to help build our deck and they worked perfectly! Lived that there were so many included in the box. Heavy duty, did their job! Highly recommended.

These joist brackets are great. It makes it easy to mount the 2x6s. It's also very useful for marking where the lumber goes. They're nice and sturdy and it made building my carport easy.

These are not heavy metal at all. 20 gauge at best. Very cheap quality, would not recommend for anything but the lightest construction. Very disappointed as the reviews made claim of quality. Would not build anything for a client using these. Will be returning as they cannot be used for anything serious.

Not like the hangers I've used in the past. They feel like a lighter metal than the ones from home depot or where ever, but they are definitely just as good, if not, better. I love the black coating they added. I have used these on outside stairs that get a lot of rain, and i feel that these will hold up for a long time.I like these so much that i will be making another order when i begin my next project. I need to remake a raised walkway that stretches between 2 of the houses on the lands i live on, and i know these will be a good addition to the sturdiness of that bridge.The price is just about the same as you get at the hardware store, so it's just more convinient to get these easy to use and sturdy hangers.

Sure they cost more than your typical joist hangers but these will be in an exposed area of my semi-finished basement so using these with the nice black finish gives my exposed ceiling a little pop for not much extra change. Its really based on your needs and finished work. Normally you wouldn't see this hardware exposed at all so no need for such a nice finish but for me that was not the case so I opted to spend a little more money for a nicer cleaner look. Other than that, they are a pretty standard piece of construction hardware that works as expected.
