Yeah, these are good in a pinch: they are not expensive.. and they do work. - That said, I am not impressed by the threads: they are loose and locktite blue is a MUST if you expect them to remain attached in an environment with any amount of movement, heat, or vibration. I kept my torque values at about 2/3 of the rated value, simply because I was afraid of stripping them. - That said: they held' and have NOT come loose, and have NOT stripped out :-)Still, I am only comfortable with a Recommended at 3 starts. e.g.: if you need a quick, affordable, workable solution, these are fine (just don't forget the locktite).

I used these T-nuts to attach solar panels on top of my camper and they worked great. Nice T-nuts with good plating. The T-slot on my 4040 is spec'd at 8.3mm so there is no way the 10mm wide nut will be able to drop through the slot mid-span with the screw installed. You have to slip it in the slot sideways and flip it into position. That's pretty easy but if you need to remove the nut mid-span it's tougher. I was able to flip it with a pick and pull it out with a magnet. If you want T-nuts that will go in and out easily in 4040 T-slots you need to choose M6 or smaller threads. Obviously an 8mm wide t-nut with 8mm threads would break into 2 pieces.

These worked perfectly for my application. Just to your homework and make sure they are the correct size for what you need. Mine were M8 and the threads were perfectly made. The thumb screws spins perfectly and freely. The shape of my roof rack tee track was a perfect fit, keep in mind these are not for woodworking standard T tracks.If these will fit your track don't hesitate to buy. Good product and a good price point as far as my research has gone.

TL;DR: dimensionally correct, work just fine. BuyLets be honest, you're buying these to use, not to look at so they are a success in that respect. The batch I got are within their design spec dimensions and they didn't have any gnarly excess metal chunks like some other nuts I've had in the past, so they score well in that respect.Threads are good, bolts spin freely within them so another win.I don't have anything else to say, they hit their required marks and fit their purpose. If they are what you want, buy them and be happy.

Nothing special. Cheap metal, but they work for my purpose (3D printer frame). Check that you're buying them with screws if you need them. You can supply your own screws or bolts and buy the nuts without, if you like.

These work great for deeper t-tracks. They are a little thick for some of the more shallow tracks in my shop.
