Your cart is empty. It is grown in tropical regions and will take drought when established. The tree is very fast growing and takes well to frequent harvesting by chopping off the top 2/3 of the tree. Also edible are the seeds and stems.

About half of the seeds i bought sprouted. Easy to grow once going. Good quality seed for the ones that did come up.

I direct sowed a few and did a few with the paper towel method and both ways germinated just fine. I did 4 direct sow and 4 in pots, 6/8 germinated without issue. The remaining 2 did not. Also, they are slow to germinate as it took a few weeks for them to do their thing. Overall I am happy with the purchase.

80% germination, very weak trees. Take time and attention to grow these well

These seeds are very easy to grow, it takes no time to see them come in. Absolutely worth the money and I believe you could gift these to friends and family to also enjoy. It’sa beauty of a tree, can’t wait to see them grow and plant them in my yard.

I received more than 25 seeds. I tried to germinate them by placing in a moist paper towel inside a plastic container which i placed near a window. However, 10 days had past and I didn’t see any germination. I decided to read the reviews from past buyers and some were saying that they got 0 percent germination. I thought i wasted my money on this purchase. BUT, after waiting for a few more days, i saw that seeds are starting to germinate. From this picture, you’ll see that i have around 35 seeds. 10 are already germinating. Probably if i wait for a few more days, ill have more. I just need to make sure the paper towel is moist and will not go dry. I’ll start planting some of the seeds in soil soon.

I had to wait a while before planting these, figured I may have waited to long. I am growing them in a large planter first so I can watch. In only 2 weeks I had sprouts coming up. Not the season to plant but in SC we do not get harsh winters so figured why not give it a try.

Using the soak- roll into wet paper-seal in bag method there was only 40% germination with the first 10/25 seeds. The 4 that germinated initially shot up in the indoor containers, although they were pretty leggy. One of those has since died when I moved the container outside and the other 3 aren’t large enough transplant yet. I’m thinking that I may be fortunate if 1/25 actually survives to fruition. The value decreases quickly with such a low germination and survival rate. If one plant makes it, it may be a decent return on investment.
