Please Always keep the chick heat lamp bottom of the lamp at least 20" away from the highest point of the animal. (Can be lowered a few inches when used with chicks.)

Packaged well. Easy to set up. Have to have gloves for halogen bulb to not get oil from your skin on the bulb prior to installation. Like the high/low setting and the easily removable chain links.

Great Heat light!. Worked well in my chicken coop. Kept my four silkie chickens warm all winter with lows down to -20F and colder. Ran this light for two weeks straight with 15min shut offs between days. However i did let it run a few times for multiple days with no shut offs when i wasnt able to get out there. So it is safe and very reliable. just follow the instructions when putting it together.

I was using this for an outside group of cats that seem to enjoy our backyard. I set it up in a small garage in an area that is sectioned off, but they can get out of. Everything was going fine, and the cats would use the area on the colder nights we had it set up. Unfortunately, the bulb only lasted about a month an a half with intermittent use. Now the temperature is dropping drastically again, and the bulb is burnt out. I was expecting a longer use.EDIT 2/3/25: Company read my review and reached out to offer a replacement bulb. I sent my address and honestly believe one will be in the mail. Will update only if it doesn't show. Fantastic customer service.
