This will not fit a 1 and 3/4 in opening not even close. Do not trust the size that they advertise and just make sure you can return the item before you buy chances are you will be returning.

I purchased these because I have been setting up a new woodworking shop in my garage after many years of wanting one. I’m going to be building cigar box guitars and will be generating a lot of dusty from the drill press, bench grinder, and portable saw. I need a way to keep the amount of dust flying around as limited as I can. These seem to fit the bill perfectly. They are a good size - not too large or too small. They are stiff thus allowing for the bags to fill up completely and they clip on the dust exhaust on my tools. It’s very cool that these are zippered so they are easy to empty - I really appreciate that. Super nice that this comes with two of these bags. These are made out of a high quality polyester and they appear that they’ll last for a long time. Very happy with this purchase and definitely recommend it to anyone owning a power tool and doesn’t want dust flying all about.
