Picked this up for a project to run a long-distance Ethernet cable to a remote WiFi antenna that’s nowhere near a power source, and it worked perfectly. The 60W power budget was more than enough, and the 2.5Gb speed ensures there’s no bottleneck, even for high-bandwidth applications. Setup was truly plug-and-play—just connected everything, and it started working immediately, with no need for extra configuration. The build quality feels solid, and it hasn’t had any issues maintaining a stable connection, even over an extended cable run. It’s also compatible with a range of PoE standards, which adds flexibility if I need to use it for other devices in the future. If you need to power PoE devices over long distances without hassle, this is a reliable and cost-effective solution.

Works with access point to provide nice stable power. Easy to use it to power one device, otherwise you might want to consider a POE+ switch. In my case, more than enough power so it stays cool, important if you need to install in a difficult to access location.

Worked fine with a POE IP Camera, the camera itself doesn't need the 2.5Gbps bandwidth this provides but I did test the data transfer rate of this and got ~280MB/s which is around the maximum of 2.5Gb Ethernet speeds. This also takes a standard PC power supply cord which is nice so you don't need to worry about keeping track of another specific cord or DC adapter.

I used this to power a wifi access point. It works perfectly fine at gigabit speed and I’m happy with it.

Tested perfectly at PoE++ power delivery and at 2.5GbE. I’ve also noticed that a lot of PoE injectors that might only be rated for gigabit speed are actually capable of 2.5Gb speeds. Although, if you absolutely need 2.5 GbE speed for a PoE injector, this is a good choice. You can find other injectors for around the same price or lower, though and those are more reputable companies with guaranteed service after the sale. (Ubiquiti) Again, as far as this injector, it performed exactly as advertised and easily powered my wireless access point that has a 2.5GbE interface and requires PoE++ power. It is economically competitive with other well-established brands. I can’t speak to service after the sale but don’t expect much. I still rate this product 5 stars for the performance and economics.

I have a shed that I've been turning into a small workshop. I was looking to add the internet out there for a tv and the computer that drives my CNC as wells provide wifi for phones and tablets. My wifi access point will do a 2.5Gb link and can be powered via POE. The PoE injector has been able to fulfill both these needs. With a single network cable back to the house I've been able to add wifi to the shed.At this point the 2.5Gb network speeds are a bit more than is needed but having it now will help future proof my setup for what comes in the future. The wifi access point has not complained about the power being delivered via this device. It is nice that there is a single power cord with an internal built in power supply meaning an external wall wart style power adapter is not needed. The injector comes with a few screw holes that allowed me to mount it to the wall and keep it up and out of the way. The shed is weather proof but not built to the same standards as a residency so I will update this review if there are any humidity or temperature related issues that show up in the coming months. There is a single LED in the corner of the that shows that it is powered on. There are now LEDs that show an active connection nor network activity. There are markings on the top cover above the ethernet ports that distinguish the POE Out from the Network In port. These marking are raised and were made when the cover was produced via what I suspect to be injection molding. They are a little hard to make out and probably would be missed if you were not really looking for them. A little white paint on the tops would make them show up a lot easier. If this was the case I would give the product another star.Overall it does what it claims well. My network gear is showing that it can handle the claimed bandwidth and power deliver standards and requirements. I have had no issues with this being the only non UniFi piece of network gear in my setup.

I recently bought some Access Points (AP) that are POE. These devices are my first POE devices so I had a little bit of a learning curve to get the right device. One of the things that I had to learn was about the difference between POE, POE+ and POE++. With this device, you don't really have to understand the difference because it will handle all three. Just plug the device in and connect it to the POE device and you are set. Just make sure that you are plugging your POE device into the port that is labeled for power out. I am very pleased with the throughput of the product and how easy it is to use. This POE injector can be over 300 feet away from the device that it is powering which makes it ideal for remote items like a camera or an Access Point. The product seems to be quality and I expect to use it for quite sometime.
