We recently created a garage gym and this clock and timer has been a great addition. The size is great, easy and clear to see. I like that it functions as a clock and timer. There are several settings that can be used for the timer that are nice to have. My only issue is the only way to change the clock or use the timers is with the remote, and the remote is easy to use but if it gets misplaced somehow then we are stuck. It isn't a huge issue, but definitely something to be aware of and keep the remote in a safe spot. I hope that sharing my opinion and experience here provides you some value when shopping and deciding on something like this gym clock and timer, if so please let everyone know below.

"This massive timer, part of the Amazon Vine Program, has been quite impressive. It's intended as a gym timer, but is perfect as a stage timer for presentations, thanks to its size and bright display and multiple programmable functions. Although the setup instructions are daunting, the array of programmable options is commendable. 4/5 stars."

When we originally got this we thought it would just be a decent standard timer clock that we could use in our home gym.Once we got this out and set it up we realized this clock is awesome. The digits are big and defined and so easy to see and simple to read.It's large, it's almost 26 inches wide and over 6 inches tall, yet thin at about 1 inch deep.It has screw openings in the back for you to hang it from a regular sheetrock wall. It doesn't need a lot of weight support because it only weighs a few pounds, but it also does not feel cheaply built.The screw holes in the back of the unit are not that large, so you can hang it from relatively small size screw heads. They are not aligned for screwing into 16 inch centered wall studs.On the right side of the light is a USB Type C plug in.On both sides of the light are speakers for the alarms. And those alarms are loud. You are not going to miss that alarm going off.At the bottom is has a row of LED lights.I've attached a picture of the light and also of the remote.You can do everything you need to with the remote. So if you need to hang the light up nice and high and out of reach, do not worry, the remote will let you handle everything. Well, everything is handled thru the remote anyway. So don't lose that remote.This clock and timer with endless customizable functions is awesome. We thought we were going to like it, but we love it.

This timer is pretty awesome but I wish it had just a couple things that were different. On the plus side the numbers are huge. The numbers are easily read from across the garage and actually I think it would be big enough for most commercial gyms. Second, there are several programs predone, which work good, and once you figure out how to make your own timers it also works excellent. Third, the remote works well and has good distance.On the negative side it should have a battery backup. This is less of an issue because of the clock calibration chip which initially didn't appear to be working. When I first started using it I couldn't get the calibration to work. I could understand whole hours being off due to different time zones, but it was something like four and a half hours off. Couldn't figure out why the half hour off and I spent a decent chunk of time trying to figure out how to get the auto calibration to kick in. Eventually I gave up and just entered the time manually which is a bit different from the instructions. I dinged it a little bit rating wise because the instructions don't quite match what you need to do, and honestly I wouldn't be able to tell you where I deviated from the instructions but eventually I got it figured out.And then the calibration chip appeared to just start working. We had a power outage for about four hours and I was dreading having to set the clock again.... but no issues. Immediately just had the correct time, which was awesome. Just to make sure I unplugged it for a bit and once I plugged it back in, it had the correct time in about 20 seconds. If this remains the case the battery backup isn't much of an issue but it would be cool to be able to take it away from a power source for when I randomly want to do something outside.Lastly, I am a bit worried if I break the remote or lose it. There are no buttons on the timer itself to do a program. I'd love to have both options just in case the remote goes down. But.. overall... it works great. With better instructions, buttons on the timer, and a battery backup, this thing would be outstanding and easily five stars.

This programmable timer can easily be seen from anywhere in the room. The extra large size and the bright LEDs help it to stick out. This is great for workouts, fun and games plus other activities. It can also be used as just a regular wall clock and it has several colors for a nightlight.
