The 944 level sensors are 400 bucks, just grab one of these, and ground on the frame. Sure you lose your low fuel light, but this sensor is shorter than 944 oem so an empty read is still 1/3 of a tank

It works, it fits correctly, but they couldn’t even include gasket. Had to buy one for 10 bucks.

Installed on my 1971 Karmann Ghia and works perfectly. It does not comes with gasket, so make sure you have a new one hand. Most other places it comes with gasket.
