  • Fits bars up to 28 inches wide

Canyon Dancer Bar-Harness II cross straps are held further away from the switch gear. The cups eliminate possible damage to grips. The new cups hold the cross straps and your tiedowns further out on the bars to better clear a wider variety of fairings. The new cup is even easier and quicker to install correctly. The cups are sized to fit the fattest grips in the industry. The steel D-ring lay-ins prevent losses even after many years of weather and abuse begin to weaken the polycarbonate cup. Made with heavier thread with more stitches in the pattern for greater strength and the contrasting thread color aids in detecting flaws or damage.

Every fall I load my motorcycle into my trailer and leave Wisconsin for warmer weather. Every spring I load my motorcycle into my trailer and return to Wisconsin. The Canyon Dancer system has helped make this a simple one-person task and I've used it successfully with several motorcycles and two maxi-scooters.

A friend of mine tried these out on his Honda Scooter and I was impressed with how easy it was to load and tie down securely with the Canyon Dancers. I have a DOUBLE rack for a pair of Vespa Primavera's. I decided to try one set first as I've been using conventional looped ratchet straps crossed over and padded at contact points. It has been a tedious 1 hour job to load and secure and properly pad all potential abrasion points. Despite the fact that I had to reset everything from scratch to try the Canyon Dancer today...my bike was loaded and secure with no pads needed in 15 minutes...i'm probably going to be 5-10 minutes next time. Wonderful, ruggedly constructed product that is a brilliant solution for us. Came home tonight and ordered a second set so we can mount both bikes using a paid of Canyon Dancers. One tip...a set of soft tie loops (about 10 bucks) can help give you ideal tie down points for your CD's and ratchet straps if your racks don't have the right angles built in. Anyway...if you're on the fence ...buy these, you won't regret it.

190 miles each direction to the track. This pulled down on my clipons and I had to adjust them after unloading both times. Would not use again.

The short bar harness works well with the Ninja 300. The product is well made, the stitching is strong and the strap material is more than strong enough for any weight bike. The soft cover for the center strap protects the paint on the tank in the small area where there is contact. When installed there will be a twist in the harness, this is described in the instructions and is perfectly fine. Within the specified range, the strap is adjustable without stops. Great solution for sport bikes with fairings.

I carry this set tucked away in my FJR and last month they came in handy during a flat on my way to work. The last time I had a flat, the tow truck driver did not have the straps to tow my bike (his solution would have left my bike's plastic scratched, if not broken). I turned him away and had to wait for another guy to show up. That took a looong time. I came home and bought this set. These work great in an emergency, but I would not use them to tow my bike anywhere but the nearest shop. They put to much stress on the forks. There are several sites that show that right way to tow a motorcycle. I strongly recommend you checked them out.

I have experience with both the older version 1 of this product and this current version 2 (with the cups). This makes loading and securing your bike WAY easier and WAY more secure. No using tie downs on non-reinforced parts of your bike to keep it in place. Where this version (cups) is better than the standard strap version 1 is that the version one has a habit of twisting a bit when you tighten it down, thus causing issues with your grips and throttle, etc. you can avoid those problems if you are careful and aware of what you are doing, but the cup version mitigates most of that concern entirely.I have yet to see a better device to assist in safely securing the bike in standard fashion that wasn't some fancy mounting system or wheel chock system. If you are reading this then you need to buy this, its well worth the money and piece of mind you get by knowing your bike is properly secured.Seriously, just buy this and save yourself the trouble.
