Within 18 months the wire corroded at the trailer plug. Wire quality very poor.

This product did not quite fit my goose-neck dump trailer and F-250 combo; one size fits all cable lengths proved to not be universal. I'm very particular about my wiring installation, and I am probably more in the OCD arena than normal. I called Gary and he worked with me to come up with a DIY kit that has met my needs and allowed me to satisfy my OCD tendencies. If you need a timely solution to get your bumper pull dump trailer in action and you're not too worried about having some extra wire coiled up somewhere, this is your kit. If you have a goose-neck or are intent on a custom quality fitment, contact Gary. Don't waste your time on the other employees - go straight to the boss and he will fix you up.

I connected my dump trailer to this and so far it works well. The circuit breaker has an input and load side. I had it backward at first. Now the trailer battery is charged off of the truck battery (F350 with 2 batteries) and I don't have to worry about charging the trailer battery.

This is one of the most well-thought-out set of power dump trailer connections I could ask for, everything in the kit was top quality. To have a pair of gloves in there, a knife to cut the zip ties, even a couple Werther's Originals in there to chew on while you're installing it, this set of power cables are second to none go look at the other one that's offered on Amazon and you'll see the difference in quality there's a reason these cost more this is made by a small company and I'm glad I spent the extra 50 or so dollars, this is worth every penny.
