This chainsaw comes with one blade which, for now, cannot be replaced. So, when the blade wears out, the whole pruning saw is worthless. $150 down the drain. This is a major issue. The seller does not provide any information in the instructions on how to sharpen and tension the chain, what size file to use, and what angle to hold the file. Plus, there is no information on how to purchase a replacement chain or bar (they both wear out over time). Another reviewer said that the seller plans to offer replacement chains and bars "soon", but I would not buy one of these until the maintenance parts are actually available. I took measurements off the chain, and could not find a replacement anywhere (Amazon, eBay, internet). So, when these become available from the seller, that will be the only source. If this will help any of you, here are the three measurements needed to replace any chainsaw blade (you must match all three): Pitch = 0.300 inches, number of drive links = 34, gauge = 0.043 inches.Another, minor issue: The Amazon listing and the bar both say this is a 7-inch chainsaw, but it is not. See my photo. It is a 6-inch saw, which is the widest cut you can make with it (measure from saw body to tip of bar).I do like how the saw operates. The extendable pole works well and is fairly lightweight. The angle adjustment for the saw with respect to the pole is a nice feature. The ability to use the saw either on or off the pole is great. And the automatic chain oiler is a big improvement over other battery-powered chainsaws (some have no oiler, or maybe just a manual push-button type). And I just want to clarify that the oiler is for lubricating the chain sliding around the bar. It is not for the motor. Electric motors do not need lubrication.

So nowhere in the add did they ever mention that it is shipped without oil and using it without oil will destroy the saws motor. There is no big warning and just a tiny caution on page 11 of the instructions. This is a crucial detail that was left out. The motor seized up quickly without oil and some labeling could easily prevent this. The overall construction is weak and really disappointing for the cost of the saw. For the price of 150 dollars, I expect it to be functional (i.e. Filled with oil or accompanied by a container of the necessary lubricant. For the price I feel that this is not a good value for the money and I do not recommend purchasing this low quality and incomplete tool.

There’s a tree that keeps drooping into my carport. It's don’t want to cut it all the way back so I have to maintain it regularly. I hate standing on a ladder with a chainsaw so this extension saw is the perfect solution. The chainsaw is compact so it’s not too heavy when I have it lifted over my head (I’m an old woman, so if I can use it, anyone can.) With this, I’m able to trim the drooping branches regularly. Totally worth it.

Pole saw came well packaged. Its made very sturdy and assembles easily. I like that you can use it as a pole saw or just a small handheld chainsaw if you prefer depending on the task at hand. It hold a charge for a long time and having 2 batteries means you'll never run out of power. We used it to clear our front yard of a dozen small trees that had popped up in area that we needed clear for a storage shed to be brought in and this worked phenomenally for that. Worth the purchase if you have any small trees or anything that you need to cut down but don't wanna use a full size chainsaw.

This tool can be used as either an extension or a hand-held trimmer. It comes with safety glasses, but they are pretty flimsy so you might want to get something a bit sturdier while you’re preparing to use the trimmer. This comes with an extra chain (one is already on the saw) and two batteries. The saw works well, although it does take a bit of practice to get the blade on branches at the right angle so the chain doesn’t stick. I’ve used this both as a hand saw and an extension, and the extension is a bit trickier as the saw is a bit heavy, so it’s better to come from under a branch than to the side of it for balance purposes. I would not classify this as a particularly high-end tool, but for under $150 at the time of ordering, it definitely gets the job done for a lot less than hiring an arborist.
