This Shapenwin Brand Wine Bottle Opener is impressive. The moment you pick it up you can feel it is solid and durable and when you swing open its parts it has a firm and precision feel to it like a high end swiss army knife. You might not normally get excited over a simple device like this but if you are a professional bartender or waiter and open dozens of bottles per day you will appreciate having a precision tool that doesn't let you down, bend or fall apart on you. And since wine bottle opening is often done at social gatherings or in fine restaurants the rosewood handle will help you look good when you are pulling corks in front of guests. The unique slotted corkscrew is something I have never seen before, it twists easily into the cork and the double hinged lever action makes the pull out quick and easy. Given the quality stainless steel construction of this opener and the fact you get two of them I think it is an amazing value. I am very pleased with this product and would order it again.

These wine bottle openers work well. They are nice heavy stainless steel with a stylish wooden handle. they are 2 different sizes, the big one has some decoration that looks kind of like a fish, the small one is just plain. The bottle foil cutter knife works well and cut plastic and foil. I have not used the beer bottle opener but i am sure it works OK. The case is very cheap looking and feeling but I don't care because it will be sitting in a drawer not the case anyways. Over all a good deal for a 2 pack at about $12.

I'm used to seeing the cheap variation of this design, the kind that gets thrown in as a free perk for subscriptions or purchases. I was rather impressed with these ones in comparison. Right away, they're a little larger than usual, they're made from sturdier materials and it immediately feels better in the hand. The look is fantastic, with the rosewood helping it look like a real tool. The leather case is a nice touch as well, although I don't expect I'd have many reasons to carry it around in one. In terms of functionality, it's great: one of the easier bottle cap opener styles, a useful little serrated blade for minor cutting or clearing away the plastic over a bottle's cork, and the corkscrew itself is easy to work with the lever, requiring a little less squeaking and grunting than a plain corkscrew.

It's a great price for the two and the case. I didn't realize they looked different which I thought was odd. They work well and feel solid and of high quality.
