It works great for cleaning my saltwater tanks . You can take it apart to clean it which is nice and doesn't cost that much for a great cleaning tool .

I have no idea on how well this works in the kitchen and I would be the wrong guy to ask. I am going to guess and say it works as advertised.I can however tell you that we use it to clean a Beta fish tank and small aquarium. It does the job well. Great price.
