I used it to keep tamales warm. However, it dried up my tamales 🫔. Pans are not strong, very light. I don't think they should have the title commercial grade because it is not. Anyway I do like the steamer and I will find ways for my food not to dry up.

This is a well-built unit and fits nicely on a tabletop. Would recommend a heat pad, if possible, to make sure it doesn't melt a plastic table if you use high heat. The only thing I did not like is that I wasn't able to find different size pans to fit the unit on Amazon.

Awesome for a small restaurant, large events and or just a big family! This keeps food warm for hours on end it was pretty much plug and go too! Great spacious product!

Just unboxed it tonight, I’m elderly and had to wait for my son to arrive for Xmas. I noticed right away water spots on the inside of the unit. It had obviously had water in it! Also the drain did not work! I pressed down to rotate and wouldn’t budge, I stopped because I didn’t want to break it. I put some water in it and it only heated one side nicely, the other was barely warm!I’m pretty sure it was a send back and they just put new lids and containers in! Now I have nothing to keep my Xmas buffet items warm! Beyond disappointed

Forget the crockpot and the burnt mess that it leaves behind and move to a commercial food warmer, seriously. This commercial food warmer is at an affordable price and will keep your food warm without burning and you can dial in the heat to perfection. We do a ton of hosting especially during the holidays and are always in need of more commercial style warmers and moved away from consumer warmers simply due to the increase in quality and more control of food temperature.As for setup and teardown, this cannot be made more simple. Plug it in, fill (preferably) warm water not exceeding the fill line, set the heat to your desired temperature to prevent anyone from getting sick, pop the food in the pans, put the pans in the slots and cover. You're all set, nothing further to do! For tear down, take out your pans, scrape them with a plastic scraper, soak and then hand wash. Drain the water, dry it all off and put away.Ultimately, this is a fantastic warmer and may end up getting more from this brand in the future based off of the performance and quality of this warmer.

Got this for a friend who throws a lot of parties (easy way to make sure I'm always invited, hehe!) and they love it. I'm not an expert but she does a lot of catering-style work and says it's excellent, and from what I've seen, she's not lying! Keeps everything nice and warm without it getting gross, at least not in the amount of time it takes for people to get their fill.
