Works as expected based on the description on Amazon. It is much easier to connect my travel trailer. Installed trailer hit hitch on truck made it difficult to connect my chains and remove them.

Our Ford trucks have a set up that doesn't work well with the trailer chains. I installed a set of these in the receiver and now hook up is a breeze. Installation was easy!

The '19 Ford Super Duty hitch doesn't accommodate RV safety chain shackles like my 2011 did. So I bought this thinking it would work - but cheap Chinese steel apparently has to be larger diameter to get the same strength as a USA made by Crosby. Just by a Crosby bow shackles and keep rolling!

These look great on my 2017 f250 got each one on with under 10 hits with a 3lb hammer, some grease and some leverage

Took about 2 minutes to install both. Started with a C-clamp, hit the end of the clamp with my hammer then just continued to hit it while holding with my hand and went right in. Trailer chains hook right to them.

After using clevices due to a poor chain connection point on the hitch, this is way better and can’t be stolen. Easy to connect to with tow chain hook and good value.

Fits the chain lobes perfectly on the Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Trailer Hitch Class V, 2 in. Receiver, PART # 41948 that I just put on my truck. Fits chain hooks easily now. Look good also for hook/shackles.For installation, don’t even try to hold the assembly and hammer the pin. That is just silly. However with a large 12” c-clamp and greasing the pin, once you get it lined up and started, it’s quick easy work.

These shackles solved a problem that Ford could have solved. So easy now to connect my trailers.
