These units appear to be well built but they just don't have the capability to lift any weight. I tried them on a refrigerator and a desk. In both cases, they would lift an inch or so and no more. They operate like a caulking gun in that each squeeze inches up and when you release your grip, it should lock there and then inch up again on the next squeeze. Instead, it would inch up on the squeeze then inch back down to the same spot on the release, getting nowhere. Also, once weight is applied, it takes SIGNIFICANT hand strength to squeeze the handles.

I recently used the Drywall Lift for some home renovaition projects, and it’s been quite effective. The multi-function design, including two drop modes and height adjustment, made lifting and positioning drywall and panels much easier.

They are well packaged and initially seemed sturdy but they are awkward to use and don't easily move up with any real weight on them. Ultimately they proved worthless so we returned them.

These would be great for hanging drywall. It would be a lot easier than doing it the old way, Where you have to hold the piece of drywall in place yourself, until you can get some screws in it. this even comes with two, so you can easily hang drywall by yourself. One can be at each end, and even help with leveling. They say you can use these to hang doors too, and it would definitely be a big help. They would work fine for that, as long as it is a somewhat light door. There are no gears, or assistance of any kind. However much you are lifting with the device, you have to be able to squeeze with that hand. Very hard to try to lift up something like the front of a couch with it. Even light couches, it is very hard to squeeze with enough pressure to actually lift the item. they work exactly as designed, and intended. Very easy to use, and they come with a carrying case. They even come with rubber protecting pads, so you don't crush the edges of the drywall, or damage anything while trying to lift it. Still a pretty cool kit. Highly recommended.

These are very handy and easy to use by one person. Sometimes you just need to lift that heavy piece of furniture a few inches for the correct adjustment. They lift the object easily and lowering is also easy. Would but again and the set would make a nice gift.

I don't have any cabinets to lift, but a while back I was getting up from a fall in the kitchen and leaned too hard on a shelf in a cabinet, and broke it loose. I've been trying to think of the least destructive way to get it back in place and secure it with fasteners. I thought maybe a hydraulic jack, or maybe a porta power? I have both and just haven't gotten around to doing it, so when I saw this pair of furniture jacks from the UYOUSC Store on Amazon, I hit the order button. The cabinet jacks arrived in a nice blow-mold case, with everything I needed inside. They jack up easily, and you can choose to led them down slow, or fast. I like choices. I also like that these have plastic pads so I don't mar what I'm working on. There are also tops that you can install that turns them into clamps.Having a pair allowed me to raise the shelf, with support on both sides of the center board, something I would not have been able to do with one hydraulic jack, or one porta power, I would have had to use both together. It would have been okay, but I have a disability and getting everything from the garage to the kitchen would have been less than pleasant. Then I would have had to reverse the process. Way more work than I would like. Which is why I procrastinated. Carrying the UYOUSC jacks into the kitchen, in their case was easy, as was the repair while using them. These work super well, and if you need to make a house call, the versatility of these cabinet lifts/furniture jacks will serve you very well. I recommend them highly.

When I saw this I juat couldn't pass it up. I can think of more than a few household uses they'd be good for. I especially liked the idea of the carpenter clamp, which was my immediate use.The jack's arrive in a nice plastic clam shell case. Great for storage, if not a bit bulky. The jacks themselves are decent quality. The technical name for this type of jack is 'hi-lift'. By design they can be a bit unpredictable as your grandpa might have told you. Super handy if you know what you're doing, dangerous if not.To test the jack's I used one of them to lift the table by our front door (according to wifey I'm supposed to call the door side table a "credenza" but I just can't bring myself to do that). I'd say the table is about 75 lbs and one jack lifted one side with ease. If you use just 1 jack be careful. The higher you lift the more physics will work against you and you can tip your load easily. Grandpa was right. Lifting with a single jack about 4 inch held nice and firmly with no tipping. Beyond 4 and the load became unstable. That's physics.Lowering the load can be done either fast, or slow using the release lever. The slow feature is awesome and very gentle and easy to control. The fast is almost a free fall and violent. I accidentally used fast the first time and was sure I damaged the door side table, while my wife was worried I broke the credenza. It was fine.Extra features:-the included silicone foot covers are extremely difficult to slip over the jack. They are also thick and in the way. Taking them on and off is not a great option and will probably end up ripping them.-the carpenter clamp option is useless if you want to clamp anything less than 5 inches thick. I was hoping to use these as a clamp. I ended up removing 1 star from my review due to their lack of explanation about the clamping jaw limitations.I the end, if you want these for jacking they are phenomenal. You can't go wrong. Highly recommended.
