2Pcs Light Diffuser Sock, 7"/18cm Diffuser Lamp Cover White Soft Lampshade Reflector Lamp Sock for Studio Strobe Reflectors Ring Light Flash Light Standard Reflectorfit fine on cones that typically come with video/ photography lights. diffusion is subtle, doesnt cut the light much. its kind of like windbreaker material. i dont know how well it holds up on super hot lights, but i havent tested long run times yet. i am sure it would be fine, but cannot confirm this. i know they fit fine. and have a subtle light diffusion but it is quite subtle. its like an elastic end, sort of like a sock that fits over the end of the reflector.

I typically shoot my portraits outdoors in the beautiful Colorado Rockies. I enjoy using portable, professional studio strobe lights with some light modifiers, maintaining that studio lighting look while using real mountains and nature as my backdrop. When possible, I use soft boxes or umbrellas for softer light on my subjects. Unfortunately, the Rockies can be a windy place, so umbrellas and softboxes can literally become sails. I've had umbrellas shoot out of their mount and sail right towards my client... not good.I've learned to make compromises when it's windy and have adopted the use of these "diffuser socks" which don't catch the wind at all. Are they as effective as a softbox or umbrella? Nope, but they do work well to cut some of the harshness and are far better than the bare reflectors. I'm actually impressed how well they actually work. These also work well with my continuous video lights. I was initially worried the lights would heat up too much and damage the diffusers, but since they're LED, it isn't a problem.
