The plastic is thinner than the previous throttle assist I had and I doubt it will last as long as my old one but it serves its purpose and you can't beat the price.

Wasn't as practical as I thought, and actually moved with a certain amount of pressure. Wound up not using them on my last bike. Haven't tried them on my new bike, will update my review if it fits my new bike better. (Both were Ebikes)
