I bought these to replace the USB port on my Onn 100003561 8" tablet. I used hot air to firmly secure it in place, but when I put it into the tablet the mounting screws would not seat properly. Looking at the original USB C port, they are slightly different dimensions. It will seat into the board, but not fit with the case on.Additionally, after soldering and verifying connection with a multimeter in continuity mode between the pin and the board, it didn't work. Don't waste your money. I had hoped this would be a perfect fit, but seems not.
