Passable for the price, and basic maintenance (burning the frayed ends) will work fine. Fits nice and tight, even on my (admittedly small) frame. Padding can take the force from throwing oneself to the ground (useful as I'm using them for airsoft). Durability is to be decided, and the fit isn't the most comfortable, but it's a hell of a lot better than letting your own elbows take the impact.

If you race BMX and are having trouble protecting your elbows and forearms due to falls, these work!! We have tried several different brands from Amazon and so far, these are the best by far. The do not slip around due to sweat, no sliding up and down the arms. These do protect your elbows a great deal. I have been hand washing ours and even letting them soak overnight. I hang dry them and they are still like new. They do hold that sweaty smell so you will want to be washing these often. Size small fit boys 109 lbs, slender and tall.
