Not as expensive as the Billards XPRESS holder, however far less weight (not as stable) and the rounded cut outs are not as big to allow the holder also to be lower. When placed lower the holder is "grabbing" and since it's lighter it's not as solid and moves around. Bigger cut outs and more weight would be better.

These are very well made and work well. They stay in place on a flat surface and won't mar the surface that it is set on. They are great for holding cue sticks when you are not shooting.

In the depiction of the item it does not show an image engraved which is why I bought these so I could personalize them myself using my laser. So I was disappointed when I received them and they had already been engraved.

The material these are made out of appears to be solid wood, and smells like wood. It is very very light however.I was a little concerned that the light weight would prevent them from holding the pool cues in place since this device is just rested on, not bolted on, the table/counter edge. There is a light rubber(?) backing that seems to do the job about holding them in place. They do move a little when you rest a cue on them but it generally stays in the same area and I'm not concerned about the cues suddenly falling to the floor. Seems to work okay.Getting 2 is really more than I need though so I think I would prefer a package of one with a lower price. The price seems a bit much for what you are actually getting.
