I installed a car seat in my van that was removed from the middle rear seat of a 2024 Ford Explorer. I thought the clip would fit but it had a wider section that pushed in the red release on the clip so it would not clasp. Solution was to use a Dremel to grind a small amount from the red tab. Now it works fine. See pictures showing the modified clip and the mating part from the seat.

I purchased these extenders because it is so hard to reach the seatbelt lock, especially when the person is larger in size. I purchased the twin pack so I would have one for both the driver and passenger sides. I love the concept and I love that it affords a person to reach the lock much easier with the extender. With that being said, it is not published, and is very important to note, in my car, having the extender engaged on the drivers side does not allow my car to shut off when parked. My car, an electric vehicle, is designed to shut off automatically when exiting the car. With the extender engaged, it will not shut off. Other than that, I would rate them a five star, but for me I can only give them a three for this safety defect.
