These latches were great for repairing my beat-up old Taylor case. I had two broken drawbolts on the case and these fit perfectly. I only replaced the lower part of the latch. It was a bit difficult drilling out the old rivets. I pulled back the liner and placed a thin piece of metal backing the wood incase I accidently drilled through. Installed the latches with shallow 6-32 screws and very thin locking bolts, then re-glued the liner with contact cement.

They bent very easily and weren't strong enough therefore, they didn't line up and ruining ,my case in the process!

I bought these as a replacement latch for a guitar case. They went in fine and are working great!

Not an exact latch for a guitar case but with a little wiggling engineering it works well enough.Saved a good case
