Received two units to replace my old LiftMaster 61LM. It took just a few minutes to use the Dip Switch to clone the new units to my garage door gate. My negative comments ... no instruction on how to open the case or to open the "door" to adjust the dip switches. I had to use a small screwdriver, and pry the case apart to discover that the dip switches were more easily adjusted by a small latch on the underneath portion of the case. Not obvious.

I need an EXTRA remote to give to another family member, not an actual REPLACEMENT remote. So finally after figuring how to PRY the switch cover off I set the 9 switches to match an existing working remote. Well guess what, NEITHER remote would work! The only way they would work, at least the one I tried, was to use the LEARN button on the receiver unit. You could say well then it works, but the PROBLEM is that the receiver only stores so many codes, I think just 3 or 4, then when you use the 'learn' button to program a new remote and it's already at that capacity it erases the last stored code and that remote will no longer work! So for my purpose or need the remotes are USELESS, and headed for the trash can as I am not paying to return the things. And don't even get me started on the terrible design and/or manufacture of the things. Even if the things worked based on the switch settings alone, like it is supposed to, how on earth is one supposed to replace the battery when it runs down? You can't even see the battery after prying the switch cover off. In summary, if like me you are just looking for an 'extra' remote and not a 'replacement' do NOT WASTE your money on these remotes!

This product was purchased to supplement a Lift Master 61LM manufactured in 1997. Two remotes are included in this package. The remotes have the same 9 DIP switches required to match the code of the Lift Master. Even though I tried matching, clearing and rematching the switch positions, these openers could not trigger the neighborhood gate to open. I tried from nearer and farther from the gate, but it didn't work. The original remote worked no matter the situation. A few positives about the design of this product are that it uses CR2032 batteries and the access to the DIP switches is easy to get to. Unfortunately, I have to return the product. Hope you have better luck with these remotes.

Funcionó perfecto para mi portón de más de 20 años. Es fácil la programación mediante el código de números. El plástico se ve buena calidad . Lo recomiendo.

Was easy to set up dip switches to match existing old 82 LM lift mastergarage door opener. I’m ordering additional ones.Only comment it would’ve been helpful if the instructions indicated to just open the little black slider on the back covered by a sticker. I was trying to pry open like for a battery replacement. It didn’t say how to open to reveal the dip switches.

Exactly what I was looking for. I have an older garage door opener (over 20yrs old) and these were easy to program to work with that opener.
