I live in Houston and use these when the temperature drops below 45 or maybe 50 for a shorter run. They are light weight enough that I can still feel the air come through, but keep my muscles and skin comfortable. I bought a size Large at 5'10", 200lb and wear size 36/32 pant (Levis jeans). These are probably a little snugger at the waist than I prefer, but not so much that I would size up. Since I'm still trying to lose another 15-20 pounds, Large is the right size. I have worn these on up to 90 minute runs at this point and they have met all my needs at a great price.

Fit: The fit is spot on. As with most compression gear, I size up to an XL. I find these fit better in the seat, which I noticed has a y-shaped design before converging into a center seam. Perhaps this is what helps the tights fit my butt better. I have a belly. I find that these tight stay in bless better. Function: The compression is good. They're easier to get on but still provide the amount of 'squeeze' for those of us who like or need that additional support. The rear of the tights is high enough so the don't slide down during squats or vigorous movements. There is a draw chord for added security and a key pocket at the right hip. I would say the pocket is large enough to fit a key fob. Material: Excellent. I tend to sweat a lot in the crotch and butt; these tights draw that moisture to the top so it can evaporate and you don't end up overly swampy. The material is a nice weight but will show lines from underwear unless they're t-backs of some kind. Edges of the logos look a little sketchy, but most logos tend to fade or wash off even if washed by hand.

These are very nice quality, not super thin but not too thick. Very tight vs some other brands and styles, but I wanted that for a night trail marathon in 30 degree weather. I wear 34x31 jeans, and the L is just barely enough to wear while running. Length is perfect, waist stays put. Could be more reflective, but very happy with these.

The size chart with this product was wrong. I first ordered a medium. I had to return the medium for an xl. The product itself was very comfortable. Time will tell if the tights enhance my running performance in the 100, 200, & 400 meter races.

Love how tight these fit, really good compression support. I like them on the small side for max support, not loose.I wear them while running on a treadmill at the gym, typically 2 to 5 miles per session. I’ve noticed increased endurance since starting to wear compression pants (not just running tights)... I run faster speeds for a longer time while running as compared to not wearing compression when running.Additionally I will wear them to help with recovery after a run, or sometimes to sleep in or under my regular pants if I’m feeling sore the next day after running. At 46 years old, reduced recovery time is an important factor that helps me to run more frequently with less aches and pains. The first few times I put on real compression pants on, it took me a little extra time trying to figure out how to get them all the way on because they’re so tight. Eventually I learned a few tricks to make it easier (notice I didn’t say easy). But they’re worth an extra minute to put them on, as with all good compression pants.Besides 2XU brand, I have numerous styles of compression pants including Virus, CW-X, Nike, PRS, and Compressionz. These 2XU Hyoptik are one of my new favorites due to how much support they give. Other favs are 2XU MCS, 2XU TR2, Virus CO29 and also the relatively unknown PRS brand compression pants. All of these offer really good compression support and I wear them all regularly. I don’t size up on any of these and wear a size small in all of them for max support.I’m relatively slender and have a somewhat naturally fit build, not overly muscular, but not a stick figure either... @ 5’7, 157lbs, I typically wear Men’s 30-32 pants and I’m wearing a size small in these 2XU Hyoptik compression pants. Some might feel they are too small. But again, I prefer much compression. You may prefer to size up a bit.

WOW its tight!this is definitely not those regular compression leggings! the sizing is depend on you weight not height, I would recommend go with the the official side chart. i am on the right end of the chart, It fit pretty tight but i think that is the purpose for having 2XU. I suppose this will get wear off a little bit, but it still fits great!

Absolutely superb at first glance. Its tight, as it should be, giving good compression to calves and thighs. The material is thin, but appears strong and stretchy. I'm 5ft 7in (1,7m) and 150lb (67kg) and bought a size S which is a perfect fit. They also look superb.I had a few concerns before I bought it:1 Could I wear them without shorts? No problems, and I'm not exactly young (or even youngish).2 Would they restrict my running? - No, it feels exactly like running in shorts.3 Would the waist band ride down? - No, not at all.I do have some concerns though. Firstly the ankle openings are quite small and removing them (using the same technique as taking off a wetsuit) puts quite a lot of stress on the hem, and I.m worried that I could damage them. An ankle zip would have been a better detail. Secondly, I'm not sure about the small internal pocket. Its credit (or Parkrun) card sized and reasonably secure. but I think that a zipped rear pocket would be better. However both these improvements would add to the already high cost. All in all I'm really happy, and would recommend them to anyone.

These are awesome tights. The sizing ran a bit small for me, but I'm an avid weightlifter. The color isn't as strange looking in person, it's more of a carbon/gunmetal grey. They graduated compression is really nice. I ordered a medium according to their size chart, but I would consider sizing up if you are near the edge. Buy this for performance, and I assume you don't care about paying the premium price.
