The reason that I have this four stars is because I was looking it when I got it. Felt the end of it. Put some pressure on the plastic end and it broke off. I could still put it back together, but it’s still broke. Otherwise the grip feels good. Fits my hand and fits my grandma’s hand. It’s so easy to use, plus I like the other functions of it. They’ve definitely made this a great value for the money.

I'm in my 70s. Sometimes it's a little awkward getting in and out of our SUV. It takes a little getting used to, to remember to put this in place, but it helps keep me from grabbing door frames or door handles. My mother-in-law, who's almost 90, has used it a couple times but I have to get out first to put it in place for her. Otherwise SHE grabs handles or door frames. WE also put a small plastic stool out for her. I like having a tool that can also break windows our cut seat belts in an emergency. I hope it comes through for us if needed

Both sides of this has broke and I have only used it to get in and out of the car three times because of my knee surgery. Of course, it is too late for me to return them, which is irritating cause I don't leave the house that much due to my surgery.

I purchased this to aide getting my wife into and out of the car. She has ALS and is very physically challenged. The product helps but the first time using it the end broke off. After returning home I inspected the handle and discovered several missing screws causing the failure. Being a hobbyist I had hardware I could use along with super glue to make the repair. Works great now but quality control needs improvement.

I have purchased this before for my father and my handicapped brother. Both used successfully. Now my husband needs it and since I misplaced the others, I had no qualms about purchasing another.

Great idea and it worked for a few trips. My husband who is 180 pounds, needed it after brain surgery. The fourth time we used it the plastic end broke off. I bought a pkg of 2 hopefully the second one is better.
