My 11 year old daughter loves cooking and she loves dumplings, so I ordered this for her to try making her own. It is a cute little gadget and its pretty easy for her to use.

I've been trying to get into making different things and this seemed like it might be a good gadget. It is! It is simple and easy to use. Makes the perfect size dumplings.

I had never seen one of these. I love char sui baus -baked barbecue pork buns- but do not like steamed ones at all and most places are more likely to have steamed not baked-baking a steamed one does not work (I tried); the dough is different, but I felt it would be a nuisance to try to make them by hand. Maybe not with this. I also like pasties, pierogis, calzones, hand pies, pot stickers, and wonton soup. this looks like it could be used for all of those, although it seems a little small for most of those things, except pot stickers and wontons, borderline on the pork buns. Still, I intend to try some of the others. I could even see the press part used to make mini tortillas, for mini-tacos.I think this will be fun. I think I will try some mini hand pies first for snacks. I will have to make some Chinese barbecued ork before trying the baked pork buns. The part that makes the folded items like hand pies is about 2 7/8 inchies in diameter, the little "hole" opiced you would lay dough over, push don into the hole and stuff is about 2 1/2 inches in diameter, and the press used toflatten out a ball of dough is about 3 7/8 inches (as I said, small tacos!)When not in use, the parts all fit nicely together to keep them together and use less space- always a good point. It seems like it is sturdy enough to handle making all of the things I mentioned and pressing the dough firmly together for good seals. We shall see- if it fails, I will be back to edit this review.
