I found these easy to use for surface finishing work, however they did not last long by comparison to other sanding pads I've used so I'm assuming they're using a softer binder. Consider when purchasing!

These are solid little sanders for my concrete work. Get a nice finish without much effort thank to these. That said, they don't last terribly long. So, as long as you don't mind burning through them a bit more quickly than others, then these are great.
