The one that came with the original disposal stunk to horribly!!! Tried every single suggestion everyone offered. Even ordered a new one from the company thinking we’d gotten a dud. Nope!! It stunk too ~ wafting into the kitchen & dining room. Ugh… After years, realized Amazon might have replacement ones. Face Palm. It fits, works, and doesn’t stink!!! Yay!!!!

This replacement was needed probably for 5 years! The old one had fallen in with the disposal on and kind of got chewed a bit! Should have done this 5 years ago!

The splash guard fits my Sinkmaster 850 garbage disposal better than the others I've tried, even though it is definitely larger than the stated "precise" 3 inches. (It is 3 1/8 inches just like the others, but for some reason, it fits - snugly - into the opening for my Sinkmaster 850.) I am using it to replace the original splash guard (from 1996, I believe), and this new splash guard looks and feels quite inferior to the original one. This one feels plastic-y, whereas the original one feels like thick heavy-duty rubber. So, 4 stars for the splash guard because at least it fit.The drain stopper, however, is a joke. It is much too small - less than 3 inches in diameter - and will not hold water in any drain. Money totally wasted. Minus a star overall because half of the set is totally useless.

Does the job, splash guard could have been a smidge bigger to fit more snug, but it's ok.
