These glass shades have a very upscale look to them - and they transform an old tired fixture into a modern one in less than 15 minutes. They make such a difference that most of the time people don't even realize it's only the glass shades that were replaced, I get compliments on the "new" light fixture. And very cost effective too - no need for any electrician or labor costs. Unscrew the old glass shades, put on the new ones and viola - done!

I am very happy with these replacement glass bulb covers for my dining table light fixture. The replacement was straightforward, and there were no issues with swapping the old ones out.I had longer bulb covers before, and i didn't like how low down they hung. I also felt like the old ones (cylinder-shaped glass covers) blocked too much of the light and directed it in too narrow of an area. These are much better! They look modern, but not weirdly trendy. They don't hang don't too far past the ends of the light bulbs, and also they don't leave the end of the bulb exposed, which i like. They cover the bulb completely without blocking too much light. They are a milky color, so they cut down on glare, also. They have a large enough opening to let enough light through without directing it too narrowly.

These are beautiful with a warm bulb in them, they cast a great soft light that’s perfect for nighttime. High end feel to them since they appear to be made of actual stone, which is surprising. They fit my pendant fixtures perfectly and an E29 Edison bulb works great in them. A little on the pricey side but well worth it if you want a luxury feel.

TLDR: High quality, nice color, good light filtering, RECOMMEND!I had the standard builders glass pendant lights in my kitchen that I hated. I removed my bulb, unscrewed the large plastic washer that holds the shade on and swapped it for these. Took less than 5 minutes to do all 3. If you can change a lightbulb, you can do this on your own. These were packaged securely with no chance of breaking during shipment unless the bix was crushed.These lights add style, elevate my kitchen’s appearance, and match my quartz counters nicely. My only complaint is I do wish they were a bit bigger for that luxury feel with my 10 foot ceilings. That’s personal preference. I plan on buying 5 more covers to swap out the builder glass coverings on my dining room chandelier.For 3 light coverings that are actual glass, I think these are a good value! Definitely buy!

I’m feeling silly for not realizing this earlier but, just in case there’s someone like me, I’ll just admit it all! When you’re replacing the shades on your light, there are often little screws that hold the globes in place OR SO I THOUGHT. It turns out, that that isn’t really true at all. What holds them in place is THE DANG LIGHTBULB. It seems so obvious now, I feel so silly, but if this helps even one other person, I’m here for you!Obviously, you remove the old globes by fastidiously unscrewing the little screws, then unscrewing the light bulb, lift the old globes out, and cringe at whatever dirt/dust/dog hair has floated in there. But these globes don’t HAVE a long “neck” to sit down inside of the light and be held by screws, unlike the globes I was replacing. I didn’t check that fact when I ordered and when I opened the package I thought i was, well, screwed!However, I thought about it, put the new globe on, then put the lightbulb into the socket and screwed it in. The globe isn’t going ANYWHERE. There is a small (approx 1/8” or less) “lip” around the bulb opening that rests inside the light which keeps it from sliding around, but the bulb itself is what keeps the globes from falling/breaking if the light gets bumped.Now, that might not work if your globe hangs DOWN from your chandelier, the globe would literally be dangling from the lightbulb, probably not ideal. The option in THAT case would be to turn each arm so that they point UP and proceed accordingly.The globes came VERY well packaged. Amazon box which contained the globe box, which contained a styrofoam (polystyrene) insert that, when opened, fit exactly three globes in their own hollowed out “wells,” and each globe was also wrapped in plastic. Nothing broken, chipped, or out of place! I got the marbled appearing globes, I’m very pleased with them. Hope this helps!
