These work fine but come with what looks like packing tape around the edges of each one. DON'T remove it! It holds the charcoal part in, (not like the OEM type which a single unit). It fits fine and works though. OEM is on tip in the photo. The bottom is this one, (only with packing tape removed). NOTE: There were no instructions to leave it so I figured it was temporary. Oh well, it was only 1.

I replaced an OEM LG air filter on my LG fridge (model number LFXS26596S). There seemed to be no difference between the OEM filter and this 3rd party filter (good!), the fit and finish was excellent and of course, the price was a lot better.The trickiest part of the replacement is actually getting the cover off of the air filter because for my LG fridge model, you need to clear out most of the contents of the top shelf of your fridge and then twist the air filter cover counter-clockwise (which was surprisingly difficult, almost felt like I was going to break the cover), replace the filter, and then put the filter cover back on (which again, was difficult because you need to line it up perfectly). Make sure you read the instructions manual on how to replace your fridge's air filter rather than just trying to wing it.

This three pack of LG / Kenmore compatible refrigerator air filter fit perfectly. The price is also good. My one concern has to do with packaging. OEM and other compatible air filters are packaged in plastic bags because of the charcoal content of the filters. These one were wrapped in thin foam wrap that does not protect the charcoal from "attaching" odors to the filter. Not sure how they will prevent odors in the refrigerator.
