These new replacement steps are much thicker and better quality plastic than the original ones, which after 15 years needed replacing. Installing the ladder rungs was easy, only a wrench is needed for the stainless steel bolts and is supplied. The top of the rungs have a nonslip roundish shaped surface for stable contact with your feet. Included in this kit were stainless steel beauty rings for where the ladder poles go into the concrete deck. Additionally, rubber bumpers are included for where the ladder pole rests against the pool wall. Overall, these steps seem to be quality-made and of good value for the price, easy to install, and their appearance certainly improves the look of my pool!
