I use these eraser shields to remove dates in my calendar that need to be removed or changed. I put the shield on the calendar and erase only the parts that need fixing. Highly recommend. Thank you.

This works perfectly for art. It's thin and sturdy, works great for erasing a specific spot without disturbing surrounding areas as it's intended to do.It comes with 3, each one has different cutouts.I recommend this, especially for art.

these shields are very thin like they're supposed to be. makes them more effective at fine detailed work.i keep mine on a magnet for easy access when i need it.

I am a young engineer who is still trying to free hand draw sketches and diagrams both in the field and in the office. This erasing shield, old fashioned as it may seem, works great to make my sketches cleaner and easier to read. The shield is thin for an eraser to contact the paper but strong enough to not bend or break. I definitely recommend this product both to more experienced drafters and artists and to young drafters and engineers when sketching work.
