Great binder for middle school kids. Heavy duty, strong durability. The functionality and options for storage is high. Good zipper and worth the price.

Our middle school has kids tote around a ton of stuff, but they can't bring a backpack. A bag like this has been the solution that most kids at the school use. Giving this five stars because it has held up really well to daily, heavy use by a middle schooler (for 7 months so far!) However, the rings holding the strap to the bag broke within a month or two, but like I said, it's been pretty heavy use and everything else has held up. We easily replaced them with some heavy duty carabiners and that solved the problem. I do wish it was a smidgen bigger, because we had to trim down regular folders to get them to fit. Overall though, it's served us well and hopefully it will last another year!

Bought for my middle school student who is not permitted to carry a backpack from class to class to use daily to carry all his books, folders, paper, and other supplies. School started Aug. 15th and by September 12th the shoulder strap has broken. Unfortunately the return window closed on Aug 21st so we are stuck with trying to make something work or replace it with another expensive binder. I was really hoping that this would be a great buy and last for more than one year because it allowed him to be organized and made the transition from elementary school to middle school a little smother.

My son was using this for school, but within two weeks of use the metal clasp on the strap broke.The trapper keeper has several pockets and compartments which are very useful. We really liked this product except that it broke with such a short amount of use.

I bought it for my 7th grade girl. Lots of pockets for extra stuff, but inside has so much room for everything needed during the school year. And way more durable than your average binder with the carry strap.

I bought this for my child at the beginning at the school year and we are now barely halfway through and I have to replace it. Within the first week of school the strap broke. No we are in December and the binding has become irreparably misaligned. Not worth the money, go for the $25-30 ones instead.

Update:I still love the organization of it and the main part is holding up. But the handles are starting to come apart after just a few months. Right now it’s just the padding on them but there’s no real way to remove it without affecting the rest of the handle so I guess we are just going to have to ride it out.Had this a few weeks. So far it’s great. Love the external pockets. Gives much more room for school supplies vs the case it binder. Had a hard time fitting everything she needed in the case it and having it shut nicely. This holds everything! Nothing falls out when you open it and it’s easy to close. Not to mention it actually fits in her Jansport book bag. Only downside is the light color. It is showing dirt faster but I’ll take it because of all the other benefits.
