I bought this radiator 2.5 years ago on my 2008 Silverado and it’s still working great. I haven’t had a single issue. It keeps my engine temp around 210° and my transmission temp around 165°-175°. I’d buy another one, but this one is still going strong.

What a great deal !! Fast shipping on top !! Tig welds looked good . Came with oil and trans cooler fittings . Make sure you treat the threads stell into aluminum will corrode otherwise . Very little modification to fit . My electric fan shroud did not meet up on middle tabs . Little modified their as well . But looks great !! Performs really well !! Super happy !!Unfortunately I am now one year and 7 months . Radiator is garbage . Been leaking about a month . I pulled it back out to see where the leaks are . Both ends at top of tank to core connections are leaking very badly . Unrepairable . So here we are less then 2 years and buying another . Oh and I have run the proper coolant . I replaced the complete cooling system when I put this radiator in . Real shame cause it dispersed heat excellent . Needless to say be warned . I left my original review so everyone can see longevity wise it’s a poor choice.

This product is beautiful and well made, however AMAZON CONFIRMED FIT told me that it would fit in my 1999 Ford Explorer Sport 4.0L V6, AND IT DOES NOT!It is too tall and will not allow my hood to close, and the middle section of the radiator is thicker, which means that it would have cooled better, however, the extra thickness does not allow the original fan shroud to fit properly. I would need to remove the clutch fan and shroud and probably would need to buy a new electric fan setup that bolts directly to the radiator, as well as needing to make modifications so that it sits lower. I would not be opposed to doing those things however I do not have the time or money to enter another such project right now, so I will have to return it.**AMAZON, PLEASE LOOK INTO YOUR DIRECT FIT PARAMETERS FOR THIS PRODUCT GOING INTO A 1999 FORD EXPLORER SPORT 4.0L V6 (VIN code X engine).I will not give a negative review based on the failure of Amazon's tools, however, BEWARE.

This is supposed to be a direct fit replacment for my 2002 GMC Sierra 2500 HD. Well, not quite. After carefull inspection and comparison between the old one and this one it looks like it will be good. All of the fittings and mounting points look compatible. So I pulled out the old one. You have to transfer a couple mounting groments to the new one and in we go. And thats when I found the first problem. It had interference with the core support across the top. The mounting algle brackets are welded on too wide on the top of the radiator. I had to grind off about 1/8" on each side to get it to fit. Next when I put on the plastic fan shroud you find the second problem. The original radiator is a single row and the new one is a double row. The fan shroud has a lip on it across the top and bottom that sets aginst the raditor. I had to cut off about 1/2" all across the top and bottom. Finally is was in. So, I like that I got away from the stupid OEM plastic tanks but if I have to make some adjustments / modifications to get it to fit on an item that claims to be diret fit replacment part they need to make you aware of that fact.Yes, I still wouold have bought it if I knew I had to make a couple of rather easy modificationsYes, It seems to be a qood quality part. (It's only been in 2 days)Yes, I would recoment it for someone that is willing to do the required mods to make it fitBut they should let you know upfront. thats all........

I had a few issues mounting this, it was really tall. I had to trim the outside edges of the brackets and sand down the lower mounts to make it fit in the radiator support. Once it was mounted the fan shroud didn’t fit due to top and bottom channel being wider than the original. I have to trim off 9/16” or 14.30mm to make it fit in the shroud. Other than that nice welds and better than the factory, if you can make it fit. The packaging needs some work the first one showed up damaged. They were easy to work with and get a replacement. Second one arrived damaged as well but was negligible.

My only complaint with this radiator is that you have to trim the top mounting brackets for it to fit under the core support. They weld the tabs to stick out past the side of the radiator when they should be mounted to flush to the side. All and all seems to be a very well built radiator and for the money trimming the brackets was no big deal.Update: 7 months into having the radiator for the 99 to 07 silverado one of the welds on the bottom of the radiator sprung a leak. I contacted Topracingparts and sent a small video and without question they are sending me a new radiator. It is very rare these days for businesses to stand behind there products and honor the warranties. Top racing did just that. I know from experience with them I will continue to buy parts from them especially the radiators. Good job Topracingparts.
