This item took forever to get here and it does not work properly. Supposed to have three speeds and only has two. Plus, the fan does not turn off with the pulley, you have to turn off at the wall switch which turns off the light too even if we want that on. Very frustrating. Not worth the wait or money. DO NOT BUY!

I had to order 12 of these for industrial fans, that we have at our facility. I tried three other brands before purchasing these. These were the only ones that fit, within the casement. My electrician said these were very good switches and it worked perfectly. I am buying more, to fix fans in our other warehouse.
