I needed a fixture for displaying mugs and this one is absolutely perfect! I love that no tools are required/needed in order to assemble it. As others have mentioned, you will need to test it out before use in order to confirm the weight capacity, but I used it for ceramic mugs and had no issues. Also as others have mentioned, the material appears to be some type of foam sandwiched inside 2 outer pieces. I think it will last for years with delicate handling. If you want to extend the display size you can also purchase end pieces and combine them to make one larger fixture!

The listing says this is made from PVC. It is a super weird feeling material and doesn't weigh anything. At first I thought it was just really thick foamboard but it is definitely something stronger than that. But it feels surprisingly sturdy and looks really nice in my shop. I'm using it to display examples of upcoming class projects, and it works great to give me enough space on our little shelf but still looks super classy.I have reservations with how long it will hold up and how easily it will clean because our shop gets very dusty. But so far so good and I'm very happy with how it looks.

This isn't made from the strongest of material. It feels almost like foam and it is quite light weight. I put it together in less than 3 minutes. The most difficult part was aligning the holes and slots without damaging the edges. The surface wipes off easily. I don't know how much use I will get out of it for displaying items. I'm concerned about its durability. For cupcakes I think its cute and would work like a charm. The value is very much so dependent on your purpose for purchasing it.
