I live in Central Florida and (for once) I'm prepping early for hurricane season. Better to do it now vs. when a storm is two days out and the entire state is panic purchasing.I have a 10.5kw generator that I can back feed my entire house, but that thing is heavy, cumbersome, and a hassle to deal with. So I bought a 4k that uses TT30r as its primary output. I wanted this so I can break the 120VAC 30A plug into multiple 15-20A circuits.I was going to make the adapter, but parts would have exceeded the cost of the premade adapter. It uses 10AWG conductors, has molded ends, and an integrated LED showing power exists. The only thing missing is the ring on the back of the TT-30p for easier removal.

This is one heavy duty cord. It's bigger than it looks in the pictures at 2 feet long and you can tell that it's made from substantial components due to its weight alone. I have a 30A outlet on the side of my house near an RV parking spot and this cord allows me to take advantage of that high amperage plug to run some of my more challenging power tools with zero worry about taxing the outlets. The 110v outlets have the 20a plug configuration so they are designed for your higher-than-normal home outlet power needs. Great cord.

We got this for our generator and so far it seems to be working well. It’s exactly what we were looking for, seems well made and heavy duty.

This is a very well made adapter cord to utilize a three prong 30amp RV type plug for standard 115v 20/15 amp cords. The outlets have very high-quality tight-fitting connections. The handy led indicator allows you to be certain cord is plugged in correctly. It should be noted that protection will still be at 30 amps, there are no breakers on this adapter cord. Very useful cord .

This is exactly what I needed. We get regular power outages her so I keep 2 generators at the ready. This plug fits the RV port perfectly on my firman and gives me 3 high amp 120 volt plugs to add to the 2 built in ones.So now I can have 5 extension cords to power my stuff. It is built VERY heavy duty and should last and last.Five stars from me as it fits my use perfectly.

Working with generators and RV power systems can require a lot of different cords and adapters. Sometimes it is easier to use the same cord sets and just buy adapters. This 30A plug to standard AC triple outlet is handy for grabbing power off a campground pedestal that only has 30A/50A sockets for your outdoor appliances. It is also good for powering tools that need a lot of current by using your large gauge 30A rv cord to run power over to your tools (esp. saws) and using this adapter to provide the 120 outlets. If you already have the 30A RV cords, then this is a cheaper option than buying new heavy duty drop cords. The workmanship is good and the molded socket/plug ends are robust and water resistant. The jacket is flexible and easy to work with. A decent buy for this type adapter.
