We were very disappointed in these. We followed all the instructions, but all we got were 4 weak seedlings and plenty of mold. We looked on the Internet and saw a lot of complaints about mold growing on the medium. Will stick with soil in regular pots. A waste of time, energy and money.

I was glad to be able to find replacements for my unit, however, these tend to get moldy fast. After the first time I used them and I had a mold problem, I took everything apart and very carefully and thoroughly sanitized my hydroponic unit and yet, the next batch got moldy very quickly also.

Excellent fit for hydroponic grower ..no mold...seeds germinated quickly and are very healthy plants.Fits well in pods...no mold...plants thriving and germinated quickly.Best

Great value but it tends to grow some sort of white gritty stuff. I can’t figure out what it is. Otherwise it holds the plant up and keeps it moist. As far as helping the plants grow, who knows.
