Each reusable wine stopper measures 0.76 inches in diameter and 1.06 inches in height, with a cap diameter of 1.14 inches. The PVC capsules have a diameter of 1.18 inches and a height of 2.36 inches. (Please confirm sizes before purchasing.)
  • T-Shaped Design: Our cork wine stoppers feature a convenient T-shaped design, allowing you to easily press them into the wine bottle by hand. They fit wine bottles with an inner neck diameter of 18.5mm. (Please confirm sizes before purchasing.)
  • PVC Heat Shrink Capsules: The PVC shrink capsules are ideal for sealing wine bottles decoratively. They are user-friendly—simply apply hot water or a hair dryer to shrink them snugly around the bottle. They can also be easily removed when needed.
  • Nice Airtightness: The combination of cork stoppers and heat-shrink capsules ensures an airtight seal, reducing the risk of flavor alteration due to air exposure. This helps preserve the quality of opened wine for longer.

If you want to bottle your own wine, or (for whatever reason) bottle something, ummm, different in an empty wine bottle, this is the kit for you.  The combination cap/cork units are easier to use to reseal a bottle than trying to re-use the old cork. If necessary, you can shave the cork down a little to make it easier to insert.  The attached cap lets you reopen the bottle without needing any tools, like a corkscrew.  Attaching the seals correctly may take a bit of practice, but is fairly easy once you get the hang of it.  I use a heat gun on its low setting, and keep the gun moving up and down and around the bottle.  If you heat one unevenly or too fast, it will wrinkle and look wrong.  There are six more seals in the kit than corks, so you have some to practice with.  Do note that the "30 pcs" in the kit will only seal 12 bottles.  There are 12 corks and 18 seals, If you don't use the six extra seals for learning/practice, you could use them to seal bottles with their original corks reused.
