The written directions for putting this pit together are not clear. The company would do their customers a favor if they provided a video. That being said this is a great buy at a great price. It comes with lava rock but I replaced them with fiber glass rocks. It looks great on my patio with my wicker furniture set. I purchased separately the wind guard to protect the flames to be able to use the table.

Works great after a year of Florida sunshine and hurricanes. Took about 30 mins to install. Still looks just as new as the day it was put together. Puts off just enough heat to curb the Florida winter chill.

There is a dent on the top edge which is quite noticeable, we already assembled it, it should have no damage, the shipping box was not broken, I am not shipping this back, I already had to pay my own shipping
