Would be a 5 star BUT the fde “sandy color” is not fde at all. It’s more of a Daniel defense “dark earth” where it’s more of an anodized brown. (Will be exchanging mine for a black one) As a clone mount, it feels very robust and the machining is pretty good. My item didn’t lean to one side because of the mount like others have reported. I do enjoy the mount.

The quality for the price is really good and it a bit tricky putting it on but that means it locks on tight with the lugs so it fits great. The recoil lug on it seems well machined so the it will hold up well to recoil.

Haven't had it out to drop it off a roof or low crawl with it yet. But the thing seems to be built very well. I'm really impressed with it! For the price, I am definitely going to buy another one! The finish on mine is black anodized and it is nice and uniform.

I have a geissele super precision scope mount, while this is not a 100 percent copy it is pretty close. For the price this mount is a steal. I paid 1800 for the scope and didn’t want to drop another 350 or 400 right away so I bought this mount to get me through for a while til I could save up more cash. I will eventually upgrade the mount but this mount is great for now. Fit and finish are good and everything mounted up and zeroed in perfectly.

The anodized/cerakote finish is just "okay." Nothing great, but not terrible either. The mount I received has some minor finish flaws on the top ring caps, but still functions alright. The BIGGEST true issue/problem is with the way it clamps to the picc rail. Due to the design, when it's clamped down, it slightly tilts the mount to the right, meaning it's not 100% flat and on your rail. You can compensate for this by making sure your scope itself is perfectly level, but if you don't and just do a rough eyeball install, your scope will be off and leave you with problematic zeroing & holdover faults. For a sub $40 mount it's just alright, but not without flaws. Don't just throw it on and expect it all to be solid and even. You MUST level your scope if you plan to use this cantilever. I'm not sure if I'd buy this mount again, because I have other cheap offset cantilever mounts that don't have this problem, but I wouldn't necessarily say I wouldn't recommend this mount, either. Your standards and usage may be different than mine. It's passable, as long as you do your own due diligence and pay attention to the detail of your install. If you don't, the flaws will absolutely affect your POI & a canted crosshair. I'm super picky about my setups, so this may get sent back for a refund. Only 3 stars is justifiable.
