Best budget lens. The pictures look just as good, if not better than other, more expensive lens brands. I have bought multiple Sigma lenses for multiple cameras now, and they never fail to take a great photo.

Works very well for me with lower light indoors. Speed and focusing for moderately paced action is pretty good. I’m shooting a m100 and have other factory and sigma lens that cost more and can do some things faster than this lens however, indoor is where this one has stood out and the price is great.

At wide open 1.4 this lens produces very sharp images, very silent and fast focusing. You will never get disappointed.

The sigma 30mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary lens is a good performer, especially at the price. Wide open, corners are slightly soft but very usable, and center sharpness is very good. Image quality improves a bit upon stopping down. Auto-focus appears to be good, with little hunting or missed focus. The Sigma is a very good addition to my lens collection, and will allow low-light photography where a slower zoom will struggle

Con la lente no tienes que estar cambiando de objetivo a cada rato. Puedes tomar buenos retratos y buenos panoramas con la misma. Es excelente la calidad del material y definitivamente 3 escalones más hacia fotos más nítidas y profesionales

My son loves it! Easy to attach, said it was an instant upgrade to his camera. He can’t wait to use it!

The sigma 30mm is my favorite lens for my Canon eos M50. It's a great bang for your buck, super affordable. It takes super crisp photos and has great aperture and bokeh. This is my go to lense. I've taken thousands of pictures with this lense so it was hard to choose which pics to post so I included some of my kitties!

This is a very high quality lens coming at a reasonable price. I highly recommend this lens for Canon M50 Mark II camera.

This lens is a game changer! I’m fairly new to photography and videography and this was my first nice lens I purchased for my canon m50. I never use my kit lens anymore after I got this one. The difference in image quality is insane!! If I can go back in time, I would have purchased the canon m50 body and purchased this lens to go with it and skipped out on the kit lens. 30mm is perfect for making my cooking videos on YouTube (Chef Atulya), food photography, and portraits. It’s very versatile. The only downside is that sometimes the 30mm is not quite wide enough and it’s a bit noisy when focusing. I think I eventually want to get the 16mm for vlogging and for the occasions when I need a wider lens. The noisy focus is not a deal breaker because there’s ways to work around that. For now, this lens fits all my needs and almost near perfect.

I just received this beautiful lens 25min ago and have not tested this enough for an accurate review. I’m just rating it based on how nice it looks and feels on my camera. Pretty sure it’s gonna be on my camera 90% of the time. The fact that it includes a hood is just a plus. I did take a couple of images and the results are night and day from my kit lens. If you get this lens you will have lots of fun shooting and capturing interesting images. One thing I didn’t like was how the delivery was handled. I saw from my kitchen window how driver approached my porch and tossed the package from 3ft high and landed on the ground and I’m not saying it’s the drivers fault because no where in the package did it say” fragile” or “handle with care”. It did have a thin layer of bubble wrap around the box for protection which certainly helps because product wasn’t damaged. But then again I just got this but hopefully all is well. It’s just not a nice thing any lens being tossed like that.

I bought this lens for my Canon M50 and I couldn’t be happier with it. I’ve owned it for a couple months now so thought I would share some thoughts.———Image Quality———The image quality out of it is fantastic! It’s pin sharp, colors are vivid and bright, and the f/1.4 is incredibly nice to shoot with at this focal length (you get some insane bokeh). The only downside I’ve found with this lens is it does have chromatic aberration wide open, but this is easily fixed in Lightroom if your shooting RAW (I believe the camera takes care of it if you shoot JPG). The focal length on a crop sensor like my M50 make this lens essentially a 50mm lens which is a great everyday length to shoot with. It can get a bit cramped sometimes indoors but it forces you to re-think your composition a bit which I actually enjoy.———Build Quality———Lens came with a lens hood, which was a welcome surprise and the build quality of the lens itself is really top notch. The focus ring is buttery smooth (honestly, its the smoothest focus ring I’ve ever used) and the lens itself is a decent weight, makes the M50 feel really good in the hand. The lens is metal and so I have no worries about its build quality, its honestly probably more durable than the camera lol.———Summary———For the price you can’t go wrong with this lens, it stays on my camera all the time now and I am loving the shots I’m getting with it. If your on the fence, do yourself a favor and just buy this lens, you will not regret it!
