I sprayed my two (2) caps in a matte black finish and installed on my gate. Perfect. Measure it and order the correct size. Nice quality!

Be sure to measure your post correctly, and these will fit perfectly. They are so shiny, they finished my deck posts off in a way that looks great. The only problem is, I'm going to have to paint my galvanized hardware with some silver metallic paint to match how shiny they are!

Exactly what I needed for my mail swing. The mail swing has an extension and comes with a cap for that extension. But I'm not using the extension so I needed a bigger cap to cover the horizontal underneath my mailbox. Check my photo and google mail swing to see what I'm talking about. Someone came by and baseball batted my mail box. I just attached the horizontal part of the mail swing to my wooden post. Now my mail box will make a big arc and swing around in a circular arc if someone hits it. If they knock out my wooden post then I'll use the extension and attach everything to a metal fence post.
