We have this on an escape room cabinet. It gets opened a lot and gets plenty of use. Still holds up and stays secure.

These are perfect style, size and quality for the wooden boxes that my husband made for our grandchildren to use as card boxes at their grad parties (just put a slot in the top for the cards) The grandchildren that have graduated high school also took the boxes to college with them. Great latch as they can also put a lock on it.

This latch was cheap and sturdy - exactly what I needed. I drilled it into a pirate chest I had stained (I bought the chest from Home Depot), and it really helps complete the look. There were four hasps in my order, but I would've paid the same amount for one. They are real cast iron, cold to the touch, and very sturdy.
