#1 - The valve works but is not opening soon enough so you can't fill the bowl with water before use. When you open the valve, the drain is also open. It only flushes, not fills.#2 - the outgoing pipe nipple threads are set back 1/4" so you cannot use a standard 1/2" hose connection because the nut on the end of the hose is too shallow to reach the threads on the valve nipple. I modified mine by cutting off the end of the nipple so the hose nut would reach the threads and screw on. Otherwise, you will need a deep nut on the hose fitting; good luck finding one.#3 - I rate the valve 2 stars for ease of installation and the fact that it didn't leak.

After a little research I found you could replace this part instead of paying the big bucks for a new RV toilet - replaced in less than 30 minutes.

The fit is great, I'm not sure on the quality as this is the second one we've had to buy. The pressure started decreasing then it developed a bad leak. We are on well water and have hard water so that might have contributed to the short life of it.
