Note

  • Maintenance Schedule: Clean the carburetor after every 100 hours of operation before use. The air filter sponge should be cleaned after 36 hours of operation.
  • Long-Term Storage: If the machine will not be used for an extended period, empty the fuel and oil from the tank. Store these in a plastic bag to prevent dust and moisture from entering the machine.
  • Oil Check: Ensure the oil inlet pipe is filled with oil before starting the machine.
  • Startup Procedure: After starting the machine, let it idle for a short period before beginning work.
  • Starting Instructions: Follow the instructions in the manual for proper startup procedures. When adding high-temperature grease, do not exceed approximately 20 grams per use. Adding too much grease can affect the machine's power and hinder its piling performance.
  • Throttle Adjustment: After starting the machine, gradually increase the throttle. Do not begin piling immediately; allow the machine to reach a steady operation before starting work. Rapidly starting to pile can lead to insufficient power.

DO NOT BUY THIS! This machine is a complete waste of money. It won't push any posts into clay, dirt, rock, or hard sand. Not big posts or small ones. The machine has no driving capabilities. It only shakes and vibrates but doesn't actually pound or hammer at all. Also if you order this and try to return it, they make you pay for the return postage which will cost you about the same as the machine did to begin with. If I could give this product zero stars I would.

Drove several t posts already with no problems at all, ground is currently frozen as well. The trick is to not use full throttle! If you use full throttle the machine just sort of vibrates and doesn’t drive the t posts. Don’t use full throttle and it works perfectly.

Bought this unit because my shoulders hurt after hand driving metal posts, but I can't lift this thing to start driving post.

I was worried this wouldn’t have the power to drive the 8ft t-posts for our new pasture, but it’s 160 bucks vs 700-1500 bucks and 30lbs vs 50-60lbs. This little guy does the job. I have drove 75-100 posts so far and it’s great even if it does break during the install of the next 1000-1500 posts it’s worth it. The ground I’m driving is hard packed clay and sand.

I would give zero stars but you have to give atleast 1. This thing is a complete waste of money.I live in central new mexico Where the dirt is mainly sand and this p o s wouldn't even drive a six foot t post 1 foot in the ground, if I hadn't already thrown away the box I would request a refund absolutely a rip off

I bought this to drive t-posts for a fence. I did quite a few with a hand driver last year which was tough in many areas of my yard due to hard clay and large rocks. It took forever. We decided to move the fence and there was no way I was going to drive all the posts by hand again. I was worried about this powered driver as the price was pretty cheap compared to other amazon sellers and the big box stores which look to be selling the same exact model under different names. There really was no assembly. I just screwed on the sleeve, mixed the oil/gas, and it started right up. Just finished putting in 20 t-posts and it even went through the toughest part of our yard, where I wouldn't have even bothered trying by hand. In the toughest parts where the clay is like cement, or there are more rocks in the ground, it took a little longer to get through. Maybe an extra 10-15 seconds, but it got through it.If you are on the fence about getting this, just do it. It is well worth it.

We use this to pound silt fence with 1.25" wood stakes. We call it the erosion control wonder. There are more expensive pounders, but the price difference makes this pounder almost disposable.
