I've only needed to use it once, but it worked well. Not sure how the scraper would hold up in hard dense ice, then it might be dicey.

Perfect tool for heading into an ice and snow storm. Telescoping feature is great for extra reach. First nicely in the tire well of the trunk.

The flat (non-knuckled) side of the scraper isn't quite flat on mine, so it only scrapes a tiny strip. But with additional use, i think it will grind down fine. The brush is nice and the overall length is good enough to reach everywhere i need to on my mazda sedan. I like that it comes apart for storage and it seems pretty sturdy, I don't think it's gonna snap any time soon.

It did well on a icy wind shield. We will how it performs during winter. So far so good
