I was hoping the strobe function would override the running light, then return back when it was turned off. It will only run one function at a time, and it's the one that is turned on first.

These were perfect for my vehicle, and installed super easy and fast. They look great and function as shown. The brightness is ok for secondary lights. And for the value these are perfect for my needs

Dual lights but if wired up to your running/marker lights to work with the rest of the truck, then the strobe wire hooked up to a switch to activate strobes, you can’t have the running lights on and turn strobes on at the same time. It’s either one or the other. Wish I knew this before buying. Have to run both modes to separate switches.
The wire to connect is too short and thin.

Im an idiot. gotta read descriptions before you buy. I was thinking these were regular size.... the show up, i open them and they end up being slightly larger in diameter than a quarter.... ended up finding a use for them and actually happy I made the mistake because theyre brighter than the look like they could be and SUPER easy to install.

Bought another brand first that did not have the 3 wires and it was absolutely useless. These work great and have a seperate wire to operate the strobe vs the amber .

These will work well for adding blue glow or marking lights on a trailer. This is kind of a specialty product since there aren't many small, blue 12V outdoor lights to pick from out in the world, so marine grade or trailer lights work in that setting. They're not intended for lighting up large areas. These are more for providing ambience or lighting as low wattage lights on a trailer, or perhaps on walkways, cabins at night or even low voltage outdoor garden landscaping or on a deck since they're outdoor rated. The round rubber seal is like a grommet intended to be pushed through a bulkhead or side where you mount IN the material, not on it. There is no screw holes. There is no screw holes and these are intended to mount in a panel or 1/4" thick material such as the steel of a trailer frame. The rubber feels like good quality and is very flexible.A hole 13/16" would be too big for the rubber to grip well.A 3/4" hole would fit well and I wouldn't try much smaller than that. The LEDs have a rich blue color and each one draws 20mA at 12.8V DC on my meter.A 10 pack of lights would draw 200mAmps which would have no effect on any full size12V system in a vehicle. You could fuse the whole set at 1 amp if you have 10 lights.100 of these would draw only 2 amps and it'd do that - other than the expense adding up in sets of 10.I seen no issue on these small lights and they should last for a long time.PS., there's a 3rd wire and that activates a strobe function. It strobes, pauses and goes again which is pretty good if you need a strobe feature.
